Founded and incorporated in 2019, Blackhorse Logistics Ltd has distinguished itself in the logistics industry. Headquartered in Kano state, Nigeria, Blackhorse boasts 35 years of combined experience in the Nigerian logistics industry, positioning BHL as a trusted partner for a diverse clientele.
Blackhorse Logistics has made its mark in serving the manufacturing industry through haulage, transportation, and special manoeuvres. Since incorporation, we have served and partnered with esteemed industry giants such as Ammasco International, Ilera Agro Processing, M.C Group, and Mamuda Industries. This client portfolio exhibits our fierce operations, which deliver unique yet dynamic services to major industry players.
BHL specialises in customs clearance and forwarding operations, delivering seamless logistics solutions to some of the region's largest manufacturers. The company's dedication to excellence is evident in its robust container haulage section, equipped with a fleet of 60 trucks funded by the promoters.
In 2023, we took a significant step to diversify into agro-trading and processing. This expansion includes operating a state-of-the-art milling plant and a High-Density Polyethene (HDPE) sack plant. These facilities continue contributing to agro-business by ensuring quality production and packaging solutions.
In October 2020, BHL made strategic investments by establishing the Dangwauro Container Terminal (DC Terminal), a bonded container terminal in Kano. Since its inauguration in February 2023, the DC Terminal has cultivated strong partnerships with leading shipping lines, including Pacific International Lines (PIL), Hapag Lloyd, and CMA-CGM. With 4,000 square meters of bonded warehousing space and over 20,000 square metres of container yard space, the DC Terminal is a comprehensive solution, streamlining logistics and Customs clearance operations for clients while broadening the group's market reach.
